Your transport for the day is Melbourne’s Gooney Bird’ our beautifully restored DC-3 airliner. Seating capacity is 28 passengers, experiencing aviation the way it used to be, measured, stately, relaxed. Departing from your own private VIP
lounge at Essendon Airport, we travel north to central Victoria, the home of Brown Brothers. Flight time is just one hour over some of central Victoria’s most beautiful scenery.

On arrival at Wangaratta Airport, we proceed to the Brown Brothers Epicurean Centre, at the original homestead in nearby Milawa. This is a pleasant fifteen minute drive through some of Victoria’s most wonderful landscapes. On arrival, you’re seated at the elegant and relaxed dining area, where the culinary side of your day seriously begins. Brown Brothers have developed an innovative menu concept that matches your food to your wine selection or vice versa. Pick your wine, or pick your food, and leave the rest to Brown Brothers. Of course you can also specify exactly what you prefer if you wish.

The Epicurean Centre is located in the beautiful garden surrounds of the winery and offers an ambience that can only be appreciated by being there. After lunch, explore the property, sample or purchase some wines, or just relax until departure time.

Your day includes: Flight to and from Wangaratta Airport from Moonee Ponds International (Essendon) Airport in our 28 passenger DC-3, ‘Melbourne’s Gooney Bird’, crewed by two pilots and one or two flight attendants. Tea/coffee/soft drinks prior to departure, light refreshments enroute. Transfers to and from the Brown Brothers facility from Wangaratta Airport.

Luncheon comprising up to three courses, with an accompanying selected glass of wine per course.
