Shortstop Jet Charter is an air charter aviation management company based at Essendon Airport in Melbourne. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Shortstop Jet Charter has grown from operating/managing light aircraft to operating/managing super mid-size corporate jets. Our current fleet has the capacity to operate both domestically and internationally.
Whilst we believe customer service and satisfaction is extremely important, we believe safety is paramount. Shortstop Jet Charter prides itself on having a very strong and ever evolving positive safety culture among the management and air crew. This ensures the safest possible flight, matched with unbridled customer service for our clients.
Shortstop Jet Charter also operates an array of warbirds ranging from a WWII trainer, a military jet trainer and the beloved corporate DC-3. Adventure flights are available in our Harvard and Iskra aircraft. Our DC-3 is an ideal aircraft for corporate group charter; with the option of using our hangar as an excellent venue for product launches, corporate events and business/private parties. This space accommodates a large internal area with the availability of our magnificent aircraft as backdrops.

BARS (Basic Aviation Risk Standard) audit status
Shortstop Jet Charter is excited to inform you that we have achieved an initial BARS (Basic Aviation Risk Standard) audit status on the 13-5-14. We are now one of only twenty nine companies in Australia, and one of five in our particular type of operation.
We decided to undertake and invest in this audit to improve and maintain our already high and positive operational and maintenance safety systems, procedures and culture.
